RTX Ghost Hunting
Pre-order
Our Ghost Hunting Script brings a full co-op paranormal investigation to FiveM. Take a case from the ghost hunter, put a team together and walk into a haunted house with the power out. Find the ghost's room with the thermometer and the EMF reader, collect evidence with the spirit box, the camera, the writing book and the silhouette projector, mark it in a shared journal and work out which of 10 ghosts you are dealing with. The longer you stay, the lower your sanity — and the lower your sanity, the more the ghost does. It throws things, slams doors, whispers in your ear, blows the fuse, and then it hunts you. Build your own haunted houses anywhere on the map with the in-game location creator — no config editing, no restart.
Standalone Resource & Compatibility
- Standalone resource – works on any FiveM server
- Compatible with ESX, QBCore, QBox and standalone
- Reward items work with ox_inventory and the framework inventories
- Houses and the leaderboard saved in the database through oxmysql — nothing to import, the tables are created on their own. Or in files, with no database at all
- Easy installation with a fully commented config
- 18 languages included — English, German, Spanish, French, Czech, Polish, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Turkish, Korean, Dutch, Chinese, Romanian, Hungarian, Thai, Japanese and Arabic
Co-op Investigations
- Talk to the ghost hunter and the lobby opens
- Invite the players around you — they get an invite card and accept with one key
- Player portraits in the lobby, the journal and the report
- Team size is up to you — four by default, or hunt alone
- The leader picks the difficulty and starts the hunt
- A time limit for every investigation and a cooldown between them, both configurable
- A live HUD with the house, the room you stand in, the time left, your sanity, the objectives and your team.
10 Ghosts — Add Your Own
- Poltergeist, Banshee, Shade, Wraith, Demon, Revenant, Phantom, Mare, Yurei and Changeling
- Every ghost leaves its own 3 pieces of evidence and behaves in its own way
- The Banshee picks one victim and hunts nobody else. The Shade does nothing while you stay together. The Revenant is slow until it sees you. The Mare puts out the lights. The Phantom is almost invisible when it hunts. The Changeling leaves evidence it does not have
- Every ghost has its own page in the journal with a picture, its evidence and its behaviour
- Add your own ghosts in one open config file — evidence, hunt speed, activity, special behaviour and how often it is picked
- Any ped can be the ghost.
6 Types of Evidence
- EMF level 5 — every ghost moves the reader, only some reach 5
- Freezing temperature — the ghost's room cools down slowly, so a quick look is not enough
- Orbs on camera — visible only through the camera, they come and go
- Spirit box answers — ask a question and the ghost answers in its own voice
- Ghost writing — put the book down in its room and it writes a word into it
- Projector silhouette — the ghost walks through the laser dots as a silhouette
- Two found pieces leave a couple of ghosts, the third one names it.
Investigation Tools
- Thermometer with a live reading, in celsius or fahrenheit
- EMF reader with five working lights on the model itself
- Spirit box — questions, answers and voices are all in the config
- Camera with night vision, mouse wheel zoom and a real viewfinder
- Flashlight — teammates see each other's beams, and it flickers when the ghost is close
- Writing book and silhouette projector you put down on the floor
- Custom RTX models for the thermometer, the EMF reader, the spirit box and the projector
- Tools can be shared, so the team has to split them up, or everybody carries everything.
Sanity
- Every player has his own sanity
- It drains while you are inside — faster in the ghost's room and faster when you are alone
- Standing next to a light that is on calms you down
- The lower the team's sanity, the more active the ghost
- Below a point the ghost starts hunting, and it goes for the players with the least sanity first.
The Ghost Is Alive
- 19 ghost events, each with its own chance
- It throws things — objects you placed and loose things that are already in the house
- Doors slam shut and creak open on their own
- Knocks, footsteps walking towards you, a whisper right next to your ear
- Lights flicker, lamps and candles go out, the fuse blows and the whole house goes dark
- The radio and the TV switch themselves on, the phone rings
- The ghost shows itself, walks out of its room and fades away, or stands somewhere it should not be
- Rats scatter, a rocking chair starts rocking on its own
- The ghost can move to another room during the investigation
- Everything it did is written into the journal, with the time and the room.
Hunts
- Lightning, thunder, the lights go mad and the exit doors lock
- The ghost appears and walks the house looking for the team
- Hide in a wardrobe and watch the room through the gap in the doors
- Its footsteps get louder the closer it is, candles are blown out as it walks past
- Get caught and the ghost takes you in a short cinematic
- Some ghosts do not stop until they take someone
- Barriers for doorways without a door, so nobody runs out during a hunt
- Optional: the ghost hears players talking and goes for them.
Jumpscares & Hallucinations
- 7 different jumpscares — in your face, standing behind you, in the dark, sprinting at you, coming closer with every blink, dropping from the ceiling, whispering beside you
- Every one ends with a cinematic sting — the camera snaps onto the ghost's face
- Each with its own sound, screen effect and look
- At low sanity players start seeing and hearing things that are not there — only they notice them
- Fake hunts that look real and are simply gone.
Haunted Objects
- Ghost board — ask a question and the planchette spells the answer letter by letter for the whole team. 14 questions, every one costs sanity. Leave without "Goodbye" and the board is cursed
- Tarot cards — 10 cards with their own art. The Sun restores your sanity, Death starts a hunt, The High Priestess brings a caught teammate back
- Voodoo doll — every pin forces the ghost to react. The heart pin starts a hunt
- Music box — wind it up by hand with the mouse. The tune plays through the house and the ghost hunts when it ends
- Bloody Mary mirror — call her three times and the ghost writes on the mirror in blood
- Phone — it rings. Pick it up and a voice whispers where the ghost is
- Radio, TV, coffin, cursed teddy and old diary — each one its own risk and its own reward
- Custom RTX models for the ghost board, the voodoo doll, the music box and the tarot cards
- Every object can be switched off or tuned in the config.
Highly Interactive Houses
- Lamps, light switches and candles the team switches on and the ghost switches off
- Bulbs can burst — and stay dark for good
- Fuse box — too many lights on and the fuse blows by itself
- Wardrobes to hide in, your own models or the ones already in the house
- Works with TVs and mirrors that are already in the map
- A small dot over every usable object nearby, so the team finds them in the dark
- Nothing can be used through walls or closed doors.
The Journal
- Shared with the whole team — every mark shows up for everybody
- Mark the evidence and the ghosts that no longer fit are ruled out
- A page for every ghost, a log of what happened, the objectives, the equipment and the haunted items
- Every photo the team takes is pasted into the journal with the room and the time
- The team with everybody's sanity
- Name the ghost and go back out.
Difficulty, Rewards & Bonus Objectives
- Easy, Normal and Nightmare — or add your own
- Nightmare: less time, faster hunts, one evidence hidden, a bigger reward
- Money for finishing, for the right ghost, for a photo of the ghost and for quick work
- Optional reward items
- Bonus objectives picked at random every run — use the haunted objects, hide during a hunt, photograph the ghost board while it moves
- An investigation report at the end: what the ghost really was, what the team found and every line of the pay
- Payouts are open-source — rewrite them for your own economy.
Leaderboard & Spectating
- Server leaderboard — ghosts solved, hunts, fastest solve and money earned
- Your own place is always shown, even outside the top 10
- A caught player watches his team finish the investigation
- Switch between teammates, first or third person.
House Mode or City Mode
- House mode — a ghost hunter stands in front of every haunted house
- City mode — ghost hunters stand in the city with a case board: every house with its photo and its story
- Take a case, get a waypoint and drive to the house — the hunt starts once the whole team is there
- Bring the report back to get paid
- Blips for the houses and the ghost hunters.
In-Game Location Creator
- Build haunted houses right in the game — no config editing required
- Draw the rooms by clicking their corners, or take them straight from the interior by room ID
- Place the ghost spots, pick the doors — exit, slam or locked — and add barriers
- Place every haunted object with a gizmo and a live preview
- Live light editor for lamps and candles — brightness, reach, colour and spot beams
- Free camera for placing and for photos
- Works in any house, any MLO and any IPL interior — with teleport points for interiors that have no door to the street
- A look for every house — dim, dark, pitch black, cold or faded
- Its own hunting hours, its story and a photo
- Edit, teleport to or delete every house from one list
- Ready for everyone straight away — no restart.
Two Interface Styles
- Paper — old case files, a handwritten journal with photos, a report on a clipboard with stamps
- Modern — clean dark panels in the RTX style
- The menus and the journal are set separately, so you can mix them
- Interface accent colour changed in one line
- HUD position, currency and units in the config
- Built-in notifications
- 70+ sound effects with distance, stereo and walls that muffle them, plus ambient music inside the house.
Who Can Play
- Open to everybody, or only to those you allow
- A job — a paranormal team, the police, anything
- An ACE permission, ESX groups, QBCore permissions or single players
- Or a ticket item every player has to carry
- Hunting hours — only at night, if you like.
Synchronization & Interaction Systems
- Fully synchronized — the whole team sees the same ghost, the same thrown object, the same door and the same hunt
- Every team gets its own instance — any number of teams can hunt the same house at once
- Or no instances: one team per house, and players nearby see the ghost too
- All interactions are possible via 5 different systems:
- RTX prompt, matching the rest of the interface
- 3D text interactions
- GTA Online style prompts
- Floating help notifications
- Custom interaction
- Or plug in your own — the interaction layer is open-source, so your existing system drops straight in
Developer Friendly
- Client and server exports to check who is hunting, where and with whom
- Events for every started and finished investigation, every hunt and every caught player
- Open hooks for money, items, jobs, access, rewards, revive and teleports — ready for your anticheat
- Hides your own HUD during the investigation with one line in the config
- Discord logs
- Every command can be renamed or switched off, and every key can be rebound
Everything Included
- Complete ghost hunting system delivered as a single, standalone resource
- Everything you need is included in the price — ready to use immediately after installation
- All custom models, ghost pictures, tarot card art, sounds and interface assets included
- Built-in notification system
- Built-in interaction prompt
- Optional support for your own notification system
Performance & Optimization
- Highly optimized and performance-focused architecture
- The ghost, the objects and the effects exist only for the team inside the house
- Houses come alive only while a team is hunting there — nothing is spawned for anybody else
- Every reward, every answer and every house saved in the creator is checked on the server — protected against cheating
- Designed to scale reliably on both small and large FiveM servers
Escrow & Configuration
- Protected via FiveM Escrow System
- Large part of the codebase is open-source, allowing developers to adapt the system to their own framework or server logic
- Fully configurable — ghosts, evidence, tools, sanity, events, jumpscares, hunts, objects, tarot cards, difficulty, rewards, bonus objectives and sounds
- UI style is fully customizable and the HTML files are open-source
- All texts are configurable and can be translated into your own language
